Saint Francis Women’s Lacrosse Named to IWLCA Academic Honor Squad
Saint Francis Women’s Lacrosse has once again demonstrated excellence beyond the field by being named to the Intercollegiate Women’s Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA) Academic Honor Squad for the 10th consecutive year and the 15th time in the past 17 years.
This recognition is awarded to collegiate programs that maintain a team GPA of 3.20 or higher, reflecting the Red Flash’s continued commitment to academic success.
In addition to the team honor, eight Saint Francis Women’s Lacrosse players were named to the prestigious IWLCA Academic Honor Roll:
- Olivia Baldini
- Victoria DiRenno
- Chyler Espino
- Jullia Givens
- Brooke Lacey
- Makayla Murray
- Mak Patten
- Colleen Roche
To qualify, student-athletes must be juniors, seniors, or graduate students with a cumulative GPA of 3.50 or higher. Notably, Baldini, DiRenno, Espino, Murray, and Roche earned the honor for the second time, showcasing consistent academic excellence throughout their collegiate careers.
The recognition of Saint Francis Women’s Lacrosse by the IWLCA highlights the team’s unwavering dedication to balancing athletic performance with high academic standards, reinforcing the program’s reputation as one of discipline, leadership, and achievement on and off the field.
